Apple COO out: Jeff Williams, the iPhone maker's longtime chief operating officer, will hand his duties later this month to top deputy Sabih Khan. Known for building out the company's global supply chain, Williams will oversee the design team, Apple Watch and health initiatives before retiring later this year.

Samsung down: South Korea's largest company reported profit fell for the first time since 2023 as it loses share of the market for cutting-edge memory chips to rivals.

Mistral funding: The French AI startup is in talks to raise as much as $1 billion from investors including Abu Dhabi fund MGX. In addition to the equity financing, the company is also discussing raising debt from several French lenders. It was valued at €5.8 billion last year.

Elon Musk's SpaceX is planning to raise money and sell shares in a deal that would value the rocket-and-satellite maker at $400 billion, a new high after the $350 billion valuation for the closely held company in a share buyback in December.
